Description by Ephesos My second scenario for Blades of Avernum, titled Embers of Rebellion, is finally complete! The basic plot here is that you arrive in peaceful Yris Valley to deliver a strange package to the local Empire fort. However, you soon find that things aren't as peaceful as they seem... The scenario is for parties level 10-15, and is rated Teen for language. But everyone should play it. Everyone! |

---Q&A--- (spoilers) Q: OMG THE TOWN BLEW UP!!! Can I prevent it? A: No, you can't prevent it. It's part of the plot, don't worry. Q: Where can I get graymold for Sorkeli? A: Go find Helen on the east side of the Pearl Bridge, and complete her quest. Q: I can't get rid of the corpse-recovery quest. A: Yup, you can't. Sorry. The absolute max you can get is six. Q: A woman in the ruins wants me to find her necklace, and I can't find it. A: Look in the ruins of her house. Some of the debris piles will be searchable, and the necklace is in one of those piles. Q: Why are so many things searchable? A: Because BoA is buggy... you'll never need to search trees, so ignore them. At one point, you'll have to search a statue. Q: The crazy magic archer keeps killing me! A: The archer picks a single target, which it will keep striking unless it comes within two spaces of it. Keep your vulnerable targets close to the archer so they can't get sniped to death. Q: Joshua keeps pushing all the crates into the water. What do I do? A: Okay, it's really simple. He can only push crates into the water when he's next to them. Lure him away from the crates into melee. Q: Was that a druid I saw at the end? A: Yes, now move along. |
