Hints and Tips
Make sure your party includes a mage and a priest with at least level three spells. The game can be played starting with zeros in these stats but it's very tough. Only the most experienced adventurer should try to start Dragonlords at bare bones minimum. My best wishes and best of luck to those who try it this way. It is the ultimate way to begin a new D&D adventure. It's how I would do it. :)
For an easier game, make up your party with a ranger type and a paladin type. One character each, one with mage spells and one with priest spells to aid your mage and priest. This makes the game much easier.
You should be able to complete the game without any hints. If you're good. However, I have included a few hints for the tougher spots in the game. Should you find yourself stuck in any way, you can email me and I'll give you an answer. Rockin@aol.com

I'm sure someone some where will eventually put up a hints page on a web page some where. :) I hope. Here are some basic hints if you get stuck:

I have also included a starter party if you would like to see what I tested the game using. It worked out quite well. Please feel like it's yours and use them if you like. :)

This first piece of advice is a hint. There are many secret passages. They aren't all that hard to find.

Don't read any further unless you are really stuck. These are answers more so than just hints.

     To rescue Snowfair:

You'll need a key and a pass. The pass is in a cave where evil forces are building a west fort. It's a completed fort but goblins inhabit it. Remember, secret passages.

The bone key is in a cockroach cave.

You need a password to get past the roach. Or just kill it. It's up to you. The desk in the little office tells of a Nephil that made great arrows. Find the Nephil in this cave also. It has the key.

     Rescuing Snowfair:

You must go pretty far east then back west at the northern end of Freslem. Snowfair's cave is there. You should be around level 10 to 15 to get by all the encounters and rescue her.

     Rescuing the other Dragonlords:

To rescue Charcoal you'll need a boat to get to the lake at the center of the island in the lake. It's pretty basic and straight forward to rescue the other Dragonlords. It's a matter of being able to find their caves and beat the encounters. To rescue Charcoal you should be level 20 or so. To rescue Stratos you should be level 30 or so. And to rescue Lavadee you should be at least level 30 or so and be well on your way, or at, level 40 to be able to defeat the end encounter. You don't really even need to do anything in the end encounter. It is possible to just watch and hope you live to tell about it. It's up to you weather you want to help or not.

Most of the puzzles are simple and straight forward. The sequel won't be so easy. :D

To buy the mansion you need to talk to Roy and then to Prossi. Once you buy the mansion there is a secret stairway somewhere.

     The golem cave:

Question: If you cannot get the golem to talk:

Answer: Go talk to Gary in Stinkville about them. He'll tell you what to do.

You'll also need to have someone reveal the location of the golem cave.

Question: If the snake is killing you at the far eastern part of Freslem:

Answer: You'll need a snake pin that you find in the snake pit. The snake pit is in the southeastern part of Freslem.

Question: If you cannot get past the magnetic mountains:

Answer: There is a piece of metal that will allow your bodies to get through the mountain passes to see the hermit and to make your way toward Binladen.
