West Zinlasia

		Friends told you not to go to Zinlasia. The trip by boat was much too dangerous and, besides, the inhabitants had a reputation for being a little odd.

		“Hollis Island is the western most part of Zinlasia. Up until just a hundred years or so ago, there were no humans here at all. This was Nephilim country. Nephilim, if you don't know, are part feline.”
		“Now, eastern Zinlasia, has been populated for hundreds of years, but the Catsclaw Mountains separate it from the western half, which includes this island. No one has ever crossed those mountains, that I know of.”
		“A huge ocean separates western Zinlasia from the rest of the world, so until boat travel became advanced enough to cross the ocean, this area remained the sole realm of the Nephilim.”
		“When humans did finally arrive, not many wanted to live here because of its isolation. But some did settle here, and soon Independence City became what it is today.”
		“Humans and Nephilim shared the island in an uneasy alliance. And then one day, about six or seven years ago, the Nephilim just up and left. They all moved over to the mainland.”
		“Boat travel to the mainland back then was much safer, so it wasn't difficult for them to make the move. Why they left is still a mystery.”
